BETHEL AMADI THREATENS FERMA OVER EKEMELE The member representing Mbaitoli/ Ikeduru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and President of the Pan African Parliament, His Excellency, Hon. Bethel Amadi has given a seven-day ultimatum to the management of the Federal Emergency Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to commence immediate rehabilitation of the Ekemele Akabor portion of the Owerri -   Okigwe Highway. Hon. Bethel Amadi gave the ultimatum during an unscheduled site inspection of the damaged portion of the highway on Monday October 29, 2012. Hon. Bethel Amadi who was visibly disturbed by the level of dilapidation of the road, described as callous and insensitive, the inability of FERMA to commence work on the site as promised after his closed-door meeting with the top management of FERMA in August, pointing out he will have no choice but to drag FERMA management to the floor of the House to explain why the management of the agency should not be sacked...
