RANKED: Top 10 African Investment Destinations Worth Visiting 2018

According to the 2018 Africa Investment Index (AII) of Quantum Global’s independent research arm, Quantum Global Research Lab, North African countries dominated the attractive investment destinations on the continent, with Morocco ranking first in Africa.
Egypt and Algeria took up the second and third spots respectively.
The index was released on March 26 on the sidelines of the Africa CEO Forum in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
It was compiled by measuring six major factors – growth, liquidity, risk, business environment, demography and social capital—to paint a picture of the investment attractiveness of countries in the medium term.
“What has propelled Morocco to the top position of the All is mainly the size of its economy, its very favourable business climate and the management of macroeconomic risks that it has made its own.

“In spite of the improvements to oil production and prices, African economies are turning their attention towards diversification to stimulate industrial development, and to attract investments in non-oil strategic sectors. Morocco has been consistent in attracting an inward flow of foreign capital, specifically in banking, tourism and energy sectors and through the development of industry,” Mthuli Ncube, the managing director of the Research Lab was quoted by local media Yabiladi News.
Botswana, came fourth on the index, making it the highest ranked country in sub-Saharan Africa. This was followed by Cote D’Ivoire, South Africa and Ethiopia.

HON NKODO DANG EMERGES NEW PAP PRESIDENT His Excellency, Hon. Nkodo Dang Roger of Cameroon has emerged the new President   of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) in a keenly contested election following the expiration of the tenure of Nigeria’s Hon. Bethel Amadi. A total of three candidates presented themselves for the election namely: Hon. Edwardo Joaquim Mulembwe   (Mozambique), Hon. Roger   Nkodo Dang (Cameroon) and Hon. Raboui Mongi (Tunisia). Hon. Nkodo Dang secured the highest number of votes amongst the contestants and was therefore declared the winner of the election. The remains of Late Ezinne Nneoma Comfort Onyemaechi Maduagwu of Umuayalu, Egbu in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State will be laid to rest on Friday June 14, 2019  after a funeral service at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral Church, Egbu, Owerri by 11 am. Late Ezinne Nneoma Comfort Onyemaechi Maduagwu is survived by Rt. Hon. Nnaemeka Maduagwu , a former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, other children,grnd children, sister, auntie and in laws.  Other funeral arrangements are as announced by the family.
